Grooming services for dogs and cats

Most clients come to us every 6–8 weeks. We don't try to upsell — you can ask what your pet actually needs and we'll give you an honest answer.

Full Dog Grooming

Bath, blow-dry, brush-out, haircut, ear check and nail trim — adapted to your dog's coat type and breed. Small and medium breeds take around 2 hours.

Cat Grooming

We know cats have opinions about grooming. Sessions are kept short and calm. Includes brush-out, light trim if needed, and nail clipping.

SPA & Conditioning

Deep conditioning treatment for dry or damaged coats. Good for dogs that spend a lot of time outdoors, or after a harsh Berlin winter.

Trimming & Hand-Stripping

Breed-specific trimming and hand-stripping for wire-coated breeds. Pricing varies depending on coat condition and breed — ask us before booking.

Contact us to book

Use the contact form, call or email. Tell us your pet's breed, age and what you need. We'll confirm a slot within one working day.

Bring your pet on time

Punctuality matters in Germany and it keeps sessions on schedule. We ask you to arrive within 5 minutes of your booked slot.

We groom without rushing

Sessions aren't back-to-back. Your pet has time to settle. If they're nervous we'll slow down and adjust — no pressure.

Pick up and pay

Payment at the end of the visit. If anything about the groom isn't right, we'll correct it free of charge within 48 hours.

MyKindCoats started as a two-person studio, founded by groomers who'd spent several years in larger Berlin salons before deciding to do things differently. The focus here is on repeat visits — getting to know your pet's habits, sensitivities and coat.

We take time to understand each pet before their first visit. For animals that need extra care or a gentler introduction, we'll suggest the right approach together.

Common questions

Things clients ask before booking

All questions
Often yes. We work slowly with anxious dogs and won't rush the process. For very nervous or reactive dogs, we recommend a short introductory visit first — just to get them used to the space. We can discuss this when you contact us.
Usually 3–5 days for weekday slots. Saturdays and the 17:00–19:00 window tend to fill up faster — sometimes a week or more in advance. During holidays, expect delays. We don't hold slots without confirmation.
We offer a free correction within 48 hours of your visit. Contact us by phone or email and we'll find a time to fix it. This doesn't cover changes in preference after the fact — but genuine concerns about the cut or finish are always addressed.
We ask for a prior consultation before accepting pets with a history of aggression. This protects both the animal and our team. Please mention this when you first contact us — we won't turn you away without a conversation.
Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee. For large breeds or longer appointments, we may request a deposit in advance.
