Things people ask before their first visit

Booking & Appointments

No. We work by appointment only — no walk-ins. Contact us by phone, email or via the booking form.
For weekday slots, usually 3–5 days ahead. Saturdays and the 17:00–19:00 window can fill up a week or more in advance.
We'll reply by email or phone within one working day to confirm your slot.
Please try to arrive within 5 minutes of your booked time. If you're running late, a quick call helps.

Pets & Behaviour

Often, yes. We work slowly with anxious dogs. For very nervous dogs, we recommend a short introductory visit first.
We ask for a short consultation before working with pets that have a history of reactive behaviour — it helps us plan the session in a way that's comfortable for everyone. Please mention this when you first contact us.
We offer a dedicated Puppy's First Groom session — shorter and gentler, focused on getting your puppy comfortable with the process.
Yes. Cat sessions are kept calm and shorter. We'll pause or stop a session early if a cat is too stressed.
You don't need to stay. Most clients drop off and return at the end of the session. We'll call you when your pet is ready.

Services & Results

We offer a free correction within 48 hours of your visit. Contact us and we'll arrange a time to address it.
Heavily matted coats take longer and may require more than one session. We'll assess on arrival and let you know what we recommend.

Pricing & Payment

Listed prices are starting rates. Final pricing depends on coat condition, session length and any extra work needed.
Payment is made at the end of the visit. For large breeds or long sessions, we may ask for a deposit at booking.
For large breeds or sessions expected to run over 2.5 hours. Will be confirmed when you book.

Cancellation & Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations may incur a fee. See our Terms (AGB).
Yes — rescheduling with at least 24 hours' notice is fine and we'll do our best to find a new slot that works.
